MacKenzie graduated from Auburn University in 2015, with a degree in animal sciences. Shortly after, she turned her interests from veterinary medicine to people. After working at a local non-profit clinic for 2 years, she was accepted into Mercer University’s Physician Assistant program. There, she fell in love with psychiatry. MacKenzie graduated with her Master’s in Medical Science in 2020. Behavioral Health is her passion, and she is dedicated to helping patients by creating a comfortable, judgment-free environment. In her spare time, MacKenzie enjoys painting, writing poetry, and hiking with her husband and two dogs, Luna and Sharkbait.
