Reed Conn is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who received his master’s degree in nursing from Valdosta State University and his bachelor’s from Mercer University. His background in healthcare began at Grady as an EMT and soon focused on mental health. He has significant experience in multiple psychiatric settings, such as adolescent stabilization and outpatient services, addiction treatment, and long-term care psychiatric facilities for adults.
Currently, he diagnoses and treats a wide range of psychiatric illnesses from age 6 and up. Qualities that define him from other providers are his ability to listen and be present with his patients, as well as having a collaborative relationship with patients where they find the best treatment options together. Psychiatry is a passion, so he is always staying up to date on the most recent research within the field. When he is not at work, he enjoys playing board games with his wife and son, or outside activities such as rock climbing or biking.
